We're a design studio, not a construction company. Your project starts with an on-site consultation anywhere on the Gold Coast, moves through concept design, and finishes as a full Master Plan: a construction-ready set of drawings your landscaper can price and build with confidence.
If you'd like, our Design Implementation service keeps us involved through the build. We help coordinate the process, connect you with trusted contractors and suppliers we work with, source your plants, and check in as the garden takes shape. You hold the building contract directly with your contractor; we keep the design on track.

Salt wind, sandy soils and full coastal sun shape the waterfront suburbs, while Tamborine Mountain and the hinterland run cooler, wetter and richer underfoot. The same plant list doesn't work in both. We read the aspect, the breezes, the shade lines and the soil of your block before a single plant goes on the plan, so the garden thrives where it's actually planted.

How much does landscape design cost on the Gold Coast?

Every garden is different, so every design is quoted to scope. Most projects fall within a clear, sensible range we'll talk through together once we've seen your site.
What plants survive coastal conditions on the Gold Coast?
The best performers near the water are salt-tolerant coastal species: westringia, lomandra, banksias and other natives that shrug off salt wind, layered with hardy exotics for texture. In the hinterland the palette opens right up, with richer soils and cooler nights suiting gardens that would struggle on the coast. We match every plant to your site's specific conditions.
Do I need council approval for landscaping on the Gold Coast?
In many cases, general garden landscaping doesn't need approval. However, retaining walls above a certain height, structures like pergolas, significant earthworks, and work near canals and waterways may need approval through the City of Gold Coast. We'll advise you on what applies to your project, and every design we prepare comes with council-ready documentation to support approval when it's needed.
Do you build the garden as well as design it?
We're a design studio, so we don't build the garden or hold the building contract ourselves. What we offer is Design Implementation: we help coordinate the process, connect you with trusted contractors and suppliers we work with, source your plants, and stay involved as the garden takes shape, so it's built the way it was drawn.

Yes. The Gold Coast is part of our core service area, with completed projects at Arundel on the coast and Mt Tamborine in the hinterland.
