We're a design studio, not a construction company. It also hands a garden some real tests. Salt air and sea breezes near the water, sandy soils that drain fast, summer storms, and Redland City Council requirements for anything structural.
We design plant-rich, functional gardens that pass those tests and still look beautiful year after year. Our Birkdale poolside retreat, right here on the bay, took Bronze in the Emerging Designer category at the LDI Awards 2025.
We're professional members of the Landscape Design Institute, and our background runs from the nursery to the tools to the drawing board, so every plan we draw is genuinely buildable.

Birkdale poolside retreat
An existing pool, outdated brick paving and tired gardens, rebuilt as one continuous space: new coping and paving, layered planting to soften the boundaries, and a pool house that sits naturally with the home. We stayed involved through construction, so it was built the way it was drawn.

Bayside conditions aren't one condition. A waterfront block at Wellington Point cops salt wind that a garden in Alexandra Hills never sees, sandy soils near the water drain fast while the red soils the region is named for hold on tight, and acreage at Mount Cotton catches storms head-on. We read the aspect, the breezes, the soil and the hot spots of your block before a single plant goes on the plan, so the garden thrives where it's actually planted.

How much does landscape design cost in the Redland?

Do I need council approval for landscaping in Redland City?

Before the build finishes, ideally once your house plans are locked in. New estates around Thornlands, Victoria Point and Redland Bay hand over blocks with compacted fill and no topsoil, so planning levels, drainage and soil early saves real money. It also means the garden starts establishing the day the builders leave, not a year later.
